Scottish Allotments and Gardens Society

The SAGS committee in consultation with other gardening and horticulture organisations, has developed an advocacy document to demonstrate that gardening and horticulture contribute to a range of desirable agendas and is worthy of positive support at a national level. We have delivered copies of the document and/or leaflets summarising relevant sections of the document to ministers, shadow ministers and civil servants in appropriate departments of the Scottish Executive. Please read/download the documents and if you are in sympathy with our aims lobby your MSPs and local councillors to try to persuade them to regard gardening related land and activities with the same positive attitude that they apply to sport.
