Forth Valley Orchards Series of Workshops

The theory and practice of a range of grafting methods will be covered in this hands-on workshop, from creating new trees to rejuvenating and rescuing old ones. Participants may bring a scion of a fruit tree they wish to propagate, and rootstocks will be available. Bring a suitable knife – care of tools will be covered.

This hands-on course for allotment holders and all aspiring gardeners, is being offered again in 2012 by City of Edinburgh Council and
Bridgend Growing Communities.
The course will be delivered in twelve 3-hour sessions throughout the year, and provides all the knowledge and skills needed for a
successful growing season. It will take place at both Inverleith Park and Dumbryden allotments in Edinburgh.

We will have a total of 36 varieties of potatoes available for sale within the three categories of FIRST EARLY, SECOND EARLY AND MAINCROP.
You can buy a single tuber up to as many as we have.
There will be teas, coffee and home-baking for sale.
